Area of the six-pointed star

EDIT
Previously, I posted a 5-pointed star ... Sorry for the joke.

Find the area of the six-pointed star if all edges are of length s,
all acute angles are 60 degrees and all obtuse angles are 240 degrees.

  1. For 6-pointed star (in spite of confusing pic) area is 12*(1/2)*sin(120)*s^2 = 3*sqrt(3)*s^2

  2. Ha Ha! You noticed. I've tried that in a classroom. After I finished with the problem, someone raised his hand and asked me, "Why didn't I draw a 6-pointed star?"
